As a member of the CIBD, you have the right to use the post-nominal CIBD. The post-nominals represent a commitment to the highest standard of technical knowledge and code of conduct within the industry, and will help you stand out as you progress in your profession.
Requirements
- Relevant university degrees and working in brewing or distilling

- hold the Diploma qualification of the CIBD and have at least one year’s experience of working in the industry

- hold the Certificate qualification of the CIBD and have at least three years’ experience of working in the industry

- Have five years of relevant experience in the industry.

- You will be required to abide by the Institute’s Code of Professional Conduct and undertake to co-operate with the Institute’s disciplinary enquiry if a complaint is laid against you.
