Join us for a unique opportunity to see inside a glass manufacturing site that is home to two of the world’s largest furnaces, operating at nearly 1600˚C and feeding 14 glass production lines between them. The site produces glass containers for some of the world’s leading beverage and food companies.
The facility also includes an in-house packaging operation with five glass filling lines, one bag-in-box line, and a large automated warehouse capable of holding up to 256,000 pallets.
Attendees will gain first-hand insight into glass manufacturing, while those involved in packaging will develop a better understanding of bottle manufacture, quality control, and high-speed packaging lines filling glass produced on site.
Please bring your own safety shoes, hi vis, bump cap, ear protection and safety glasses if possible.
Why you should attend:
- Gain insight into bottle manufacture, quality control, and high-speed packaging lines
