Young Member Brew Day: Copper Beech

8AM start for 9am mash in

Come along to a fun and social brew day to promote section networking for early career CIBD members and Brewing exam candidates!

Join the group to brew a unique beer for the section dinner. Led by Head Brewer Dan Lawson, you’ll be involved in every stage of the brewing process. The day also includes a brewery tour, followed by beers in Copper Beech’s on-site taproom after the brewday. Lunch will be provided.

The beer will also be judged at the Midland Section Dinner 2026 against a beer brewed in competition by another group of early career brewers.

Safety shoes required.

How to get there:

  • The brewery is a 5 minutes walk from Worcester Foregate Street train station

Why You Should Attend:

  • A chance to get stuck in on a full brew day and be part of making the winning beer for Midland section dinner 
  • A great opportunity to see the workings of another brewery.
  • Network socialise and learn with fellow brewers 

Tickets: FREE, including lunch. There are 10 places only so book early to avoid disappointment! Everyone is welcome to apply, but note the priority will be given to CIBD members and early career brewers.
