As the Master Distiller for Bombay Sapphire, Anne plays a pivotal role in crafting one of the world’s most recognised gins. With a background in chemistry and a passion for spirits that began behind the bar, she has built a career that blends science with creativity.

Jitka Svobodova

With a background in hospitality, sommelier training, and a deep love for history, Jitka found her true calling in whiskey and gin. Now a tasting guide for Kingdom Whiskey Tasting Events, she shares her passion and knowledge with others eager to learn.

Amelia Maharaj

Amelia is a Chemical and Process Engineer specialising in Distillery Operations, where she is responsible for overseeing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and driving process optimisation. Her passion for distilling was sparked by a job opportunity in the industry, and she quickly became captivated by the science behind rum production.

Jorgie Hunt

From her start in hospitality to her role in Continuous Improvement, Jorgie highlights the importance of resilience, kindness, and creating space for growth - especially for women in the industry.

Lead Distiller in Technical Development, Westward Whiskey, Portland, Oregon. Winner of the 2024 Simpsons Malt Award for Diploma in Distilling Module 1.

Anna Mantheakis

With a background in biochemistry and a master’s degree in Viticulture and Enology, Anna brings a scientific approach to her work as a distiller at Westward Whiskey. Passionate about both innovation and tradition, she refines distillery processes and experiments with new techniques.
