Networking Event at the ASBC and CIBD Meeting and the Launch of the North America Section

The 2026 ASBC & CIBD Meeting brought together 420 attendees in Seattle for three days of technical insight, discussion and networking across the global brewing and distilling community.

Across the meeting, CIBD hosted sessions exploring the future skills needed across the drinks industry, challenges and opportunities for brewing, and key issues shaping the future of distilling.

CIBD also held a networking event on the evening of 17 August, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with the CIBD community, hear from Professor Charlie Bamforth, and learn more about plans for the CIBD North American Section. The event also marked the establishment of the North American Section committee.
